Recession

Recently President O'Bama stated that in terms of the recession, "The storm is receeding." We have been in a recession as a nation for an extended period of time now, and the president believes we are on our way towards being out of it. This could be great for all Americans. Many people have lost jobs and money, and an end to the recession would be great for the country. The recession could end soon and many Americans would return to work and prosperity.
I hope the President is correct in his assumption. The nation as a whole has been suffering for too long, and it would be nice for Americans to regain economic stability. Many people have lost jobs, and they deserve to have another opportunity to work and provide for their families. There have been plenty of people who have sacrificed greatly during the recession, and it could be over soon. Hopefully the recession will end soon, and Americans can return to prosperity.

  1. I think that at this time we can only hope that the recession can get better. Until I see President Obama helping the recession in any way he can then i will not get my hopes up. We must get together as a country and stop depending on the president to make everything better. If we want a change, we need to work on it ourselves.

  2. I agree with Clayton, I think this is great news if it's true. However, I don't really believe Obama until I see the change for myself. Millions of people are still out of jobs and were leaving our nation's debt in the hands of our children. I don't think the recession is trully coming to an end, I think Obama just said that to make it seem like he's actually doing something.
